There's so many ways to get free items nowadays and if you're a Mom like me, you probably appreciate ANYTHING free you can get right?
The first thing I recommend is like as many facebook pages as you can since they often offer free samples or contests. So check the brands you buy often and head over to their pages. Make sure "show in newsfeed" is checked so you can see their updates. Some of them offer Twitter contests too so be a follower there as well. I've won full size skin care and even an overnight hotel stay!
Also, of course, many stores offer reward programs. My wallet would weigh 10 pounds, not from cash, but from these cards alone, I have so many. I'm sure you do too.
Fortunately a lot of them let you give your phone number to aquire your rewards. Most drugstores have cash back rewards. Clothing stores have frequent shopper rewards.Hardware stores. And of course grocery stores. Join everything you can! Takes a few mnutes when you are there but well worth it.
Then sign up for e-mails on their sites as well. CVS sends 25% off to your card when you click the offer. Bob's clothing store sends me about 3 $10 free coupons a year. The local Ace hardware sent me a free $5 coupon and a $5 off $15 when I signed up for their rewards
*****Here's a new one I just found out about that looks great! It's called Ibotta. You can earn money when you shop, if you have a smartphone. Up to $20 each trip. Not bad right? And it's totally free to join. Join IBotta here.
Recently I got a free year long magazine subscription to OPRAH(one of my favorite magazines) plus Prevention and 3 other magazines for clicking on a few videos and answering a few questions on RECYCLEBANK. The kids can help you with this one too and
they'll learn a lot about going green.
Stonyfield offers a reward program where you type in the code from your yogurts and accumulate points.I've got quite a few free yogurts and cereals this way.
Have a lot of items around the house that you'd like to get rid of without paying listing fees, having strangers come to your home or having a yard sale? You can join LISTIA for free , list items you want to get rid of and people bid on them with points. There's NO cash exchanged ( but you pay for shipping out your items)and you earn points to bid on other items you'd like. Most ship free so you won't even have to pay shipping when winning a bid. I haven't shopped yet but it looks interesting.
Online survey sites like Survey Savvy, Opinion Outpost, Epoll, Mommytalk surveys and Paidviewpoint are good ways to earn some extra cash without leaving home and some even have referral programs so you can earn a little extra by simply sharing your link. Think how many facebook friends you have, or blog readers, who may want some extra cash.
Lastly, there's sites like freebies.com, gofreebies.com, freebieshark.com and freebies4mom.com.
