With so many questionable or toxic chemicals in our foods and skincare, we have to know what to look for. So seeing the words "No high fructose corn syrup" is good, but check the ingredient label and see what else is in there ok?
They key is to be a reader and make better choices, at least as often as you can.
Can you do it 100% percent of the time? Most likely not. I'm lucky if 50% of the things we buy are in the organic/natural or just healthier versions.
I've decided to not GO OVERBOARD and drive myself crazy with fear.
But rather to just remember ; Everything in moderation :-)
Look for things like this:
NO Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)
NO Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (SLES)
NO Propylene Glycol
NO Volatile Organic Cleaning Compounds (VOCs)
NO Hydrochloric Acid
NO Sodium Hydroxide
NO Butyl Cellosolve
NO Petroleum Distillates
NO Chlorine Bleach
NO Trans Fats
NO Artificial Sweeteners
NO Toxic Inks
NO high fructose corn syrup
